where thermostat located on 95 Passat VR6

Could anyone tell me where is the thermostat located for 95 passat vr6? Is it located where the bottom radiator hose joins the engine or on the radiator upper hose where it connects to the engine? Thanks very much! grnvw 05-21-2004, 12:24 AM It's located between 2 plastic pieces, one of which is connected to the engine.
