Wanted

I'm searching for a geo metro and have been looking into which model to get. I have seen all the specs on how the '94 and previous were better on gas and realize the '95 and after have better safety features. I already have a subaru legacy and was just looking for a economical inexpensive car with much better gas mileage then i already have. What is the best way of going about this because i have been searching for a long period of time. What is a reasonable price on a 1994 metro?

If you could give me some things to look out for and a reasonable price range that would be great.

Will a friend just sold his 93 metro for 1350 it had 110,000 miles on it and it has a lot of hail dents on the car. With gas going up you can pay more for the car then you would of pay last year at this time.
