Hi there

i have a R reg 1998 2.2 tdi renault espace, the head gasket has gone so has the radiator and now the clutch is not returning.

i am in manchester uk and i just cant find a garage that wont take the micky, renault are quoting upt £1.5k and other garages say they dont know how to fix it as its a complicated machine.

Does anyone out there know of a garage in manchester (or surrounding)uk that could help me out without taking the micky?

i have a 1989 espace and had the haed gasket replaced earlier this year, renault wanted £900 to fix, i eventually found a garage in sheffield, where i lived at the time and they did the gasket for me for £400, and made a good job of it, so keep looking, you will find someone who will be able to fix it for you. (although the mechanic who did mine did say they were a bugger to do)

all mechanics say that..... it erns them more money

have you tryed talking to french part at stockport they may be able to point you in the right direction
