Before you read on, feel free to laugh at me first. I am broke and I am a modding noob. But hey, I figure a lot of us all started here, so I'll continue typing and ask my silly questions. I've tried to read as much as I can in this forum in finding info/answers, but w/o success.

My questions are: w/o adding anything else, is $800-$900 enough for a decent supercharger on a 2.2L stock engin w/o it blowing all to bits, labor included?

And what are some additional bare necessities for a superC? Like gauges, valves, what not.... And what's a good brand.

Would be great if someone can point me a direction.

Thank you in advance.

Well unless you get a junkyard supercharger, that isn't going to do it. Even then it probably wouldn't be enough. If you are going forced induction I suggest you go turbo, over supercharger. You will get more power. You can probably get turbo's for around $2,500, then you have to install yourself. costom turbos are better, but since you are new to this i would say get a kit. Anyways $900 is not going to cut it, I suggest saving for a while if that is the rout you chose. If you want to learn alot about turbo's and supercharger read the first thread in this area it says important in front of it, and says turbo tech right after It will teach you alot about them. Maybe then you could decide which rout to take. Good luck.
