RalliartSpeeddude123 05-12-2004, 07:57 PM Ok so I was wondering this, I've got a ralliart, but I want to add more hp and trq. What is the best way to do this WITHOUT tripping the check engine light and voiding the waranty? TerryJoe 05-12-2004, 08:03 PM time lol well what i ment by that is there isnt much out there that i have been able to find "yet" all i have found is intake cat back and da piggy back and a lsd but other than that nothing like cams etc.. i might be looking in the wrong place it just gonna take time for parts 2 get out and the information out to us. i am also in the same boat as u are i also got a o4 ralliart new cars just need time damn i wished i could control time lol laters Speeddude123 05-13-2004, 06:40 PM Yea, but hey, there are still fun! TerryJoe 05-14-2004, 07:25 PM true that lol a evo would be more fun tho lol i didnt know u had 2 take a test to buy a evo VIII lol 04 Ralliart 05-26-2004, 12:11 AM Lol.. I 2 just got a new ralliart.. U are rite the only mods out there is the piggy back acu, cat back system, and the cold air intake. I saw with a dyno read these 3 items added about 30hp and about 30fps of trq. So far with my ralliart I added the cat back system and didnt feal much differance.. I'm getting the cold air intake next month when AEM has them avalable. TerryJoe 05-26-2004, 06:55 PM kewl.i cant wait till a turbo comes out i dont want nothing 2 big just a lil upgrade Speeddude123 05-30-2004, 05:53 PM Yea thats the way i want it to. Just a little more punch... or whatever you wana call it. Im not feeling a turbo, my engine's gota last me 6 years.... hehe.... what do you recomend i do, without wearing down my engine? RACER D12 05-30-2004, 09:38 PM Well you could raise your compression. ralliartist625 05-31-2004, 04:16 PM hey, for a long time i have struggled with whether to mess with my warranty or not, but i have come to the conclusion that the only way i can get what i want out of my car is to modify. so i have begun a search for worthwhile parts and i have decided that the best so far would be new headers. just so you know, road///race has headers for sale for the ralliart. they look nice. let me know if anyone tries them out, thats what im goin for... kman10587 06-01-2004, 04:15 PM I'm just gonna wait until a turbo kit comes out for my 04 Ralliart, and put that in. It'd suck if it voids my 100,000 mile warranty, though. trippy 06-01-2004, 10:09 PM hey, for a long time i have struggled with whether to mess with my warranty or not, but i have come to the conclusion that the only way i can get what i want out of my car is to modify. so i have begun a search for worthwhile parts and i have decided that the best so far would be new headers. just so you know, road///race has headers for sale for the ralliart. they look nice. let me know if anyone tries them out, thats what im goin for...Ummm okay. So you want to void your warranty just to get headers? I hope you're planning on doing much more serious modifications if you're expecting big gains. Headers will change the sound a little, give a little bit more pep... but i guess it depends what you're willing to sacrifice your warranty for. :P RACER D12 06-02-2004, 05:58 PM Also dont waste money on parts that you will got rid of later. Like headers! why would you get those if you want turbo later? you would have to get rid of them. kman10587 06-02-2004, 08:18 PM What trippy said. Just wait for a turbo kit and put that in. Hopefully, it will make the Ralliart able to keep up with the SRT-4 and WRX, as well as take out a lot of the cocky Mustang GT drivers out there :) ralliartist625 06-03-2004, 10:37 AM Woa!! hold on, im not that stupid, im not just gonna bust 400 bucks on headers alone. its just a start; one component out of the whole system. screwing the warranty for just that one modification isnt worth it, but just so you know, road///race claims these headers are compadable with their turbos. not only that, but i would suggest looking into nos if you want something great fast. you wont have to alter the mechanics that much, and itll give you insane power right when you need it. plus plan on spending like 800 versus 4000. TerryJoe 06-05-2004, 06:55 PM header---turbo manifold i dunno i thought there was a difference between the 2? what does it break down like legos and then u can hook up a turbo? Master_French 06-12-2004, 03:08 PM Hey I getting a new lancer ralliart 2005 this summer and i don't know witch color i'm gona take it. If you can give me suggestions... At fist view, ill go with the red one... I also want to put a airfilter in my ralliart. If somebody can suggest me some good airfilters. Are HKS good? thank you Speeddude123 06-13-2004, 12:33 AM I got mine in black. Wow I've had mine for 7 weeks , and loved it every minute. Im just a black fan though. Then yellow, then red. HKS=awesome. 04 Ralliart 06-15-2004, 09:04 PM Dimond white looks so fresh and so clean... Thats the color i got. Speeddude123 06-19-2004, 10:31 PM I almost got white, but i decided to get a unused one (it was a demo) and got black (my fav. color). But its really hard to keep clean. harley87 07-27-2004, 05:30 PM hey, as well as everyone else i have a 04 ralliart and am looking for some advice on what parts to get to add a little pep for a reasonable price TerryJoe 07-27-2004, 10:28 PM www.roadracemotorsports.com they have a few items that can give u a lil more pep jerzralliart 10-29-2004, 03:35 PM road race motorsports just came out with there with there turbo and there specs are it is putting out around 240-250 hp tq is a little less 230 or something vteclude 12-03-2004, 10:33 AM Just to let everyone know I went to the mitsubishi dealer for my last oil change and asked the service dept if mods will void the warranty. He said that Mods from Road Race Motorsports (intake, cat back, and piggyback ecu) will not void the warranty. As long as they install them at the dealer you keep your warranty. Great news for us ralliart owners! I also asked about the turbo kit but they told me there hasn't been enough time to test the long term reliability of the kit. So only time will tell. With the low boost level I don't see why it would though. ooralliartoo 12-07-2004, 08:07 PM the turbo is out for the ralliart...i wish they would give a bigger turbo though..or somethin to get a little more hp outta it. Automatic 51 12-09-2004, 03:13 PM roadracemotorsports.com has a turbo kit for the RAs, if it's not for sale yet it'll be available in a couple months. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
