I still have no idea why this condition exists? Changed fuel tank cap and also coolant temp. sensor. Still the same problem. Is explosives in large quanities the only answer???? HELP ME if you can. I'm running out of ideas. maybe knock or cam or crank sensors??????????????????

YEAH !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! FIXED Short in an injector! no more problem..........................This model, the injectors all shut down if one has a short. no fuel to run the engine. fooled me, but not the tech at EXPERT 4wd, in Loveland Colorado. Thank you Expert 4wd.

I suspect you have a bad crank sensor. Next time it stalls, pour a gallon of cold water around the crank sensor area. Start the vehicle up and if it starts right away, replace the crank sensor.

if you are having a possible problem with the crank position sensor located behind the harmonic balancer i suggest you replace it considering its only 54 dollars for the part all you need to do is loosen the tension take off the serpentine belt unbolt the harmonic balancer and place a new one there mine went out and the conditions were the car would attempt to start sometimes start and when the vibration was enough i would disconnect the crank position sensor... thus turning off the engine if your pins are loose it may cause intermittent firing or shutting off the car sometimes no start at all
