electrical problem 93 cutlass supremerealness 05-10-2004, 04:31 PM I have a 1993 olds cutlass supreme 2dr. And I was vacuuming my car with a plug-in cigarette lighter vacuum and the vaccuum blew (shorted out) and now my cigarette lighter doesn’t work, my door lock button don’t unlock and lock the doors (only my remote for my car alarm locks and unlocks the door) my interior, trunk, and light under the hood doesn’t light up anymore either. I am thinking it could be a fuse but I cant find the fuse box. Also I noticed that when I hit the gas to go forward it doesn’t go right away like it did before this happen. When I stop a light or sign or if I just beginning to pull off when I hit the gas the car just revs up then it goes. But when I hit the gas to reverse the car moves right away and I can feel the horse power as soon as I hit the gas as opposed to going forward. any help would be greatly appreciated Slade901 05-10-2004, 09:29 PM On my 1990 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme 3.1L V6, the fuse box is located under the glove box. You open the glove box cover and then remove the whole glove box itself and then you will see the fuse box. On my experience, the IAC, TPS would cause this problem but I've also heard that the Mass Air Flow sensor or Air Charge Temperature sensor. Try cleaning them first and make sure the sensor wires are connected tightly. realness 05-11-2004, 11:14 AM thanks for the info. i will in the glove box enreyes52 09-26-2004, 02:08 AM I have a 1993 olds cutlass supreme 2dr.
