hey i got an 98 si with only 70,000km, and just bought it from the dealer.
i only had it for a few days and now the CHECK ENGINE LIGHT is on.
is there anyways I can check that problem myself, or should i right away make an appointment with the dealer for them too look at it?

well if you just bought it then go ahead and take it back to them to have them look at it.

Where do you live? You are aware that there is no such thing as a 1998 civic si in the states.

I was just about to say that . . . take it back or jump the service connector with a paper clip, and get back to use with the ecu code:)
