Ok so recently i was driving and my speakers stopped working. The fuse that blew is fuse #8 labeled Power Amp, Cigar Lighter, and Horn(relay). We disconnected all the speakers, power antenna, radio and horn but the fuse still blows when inserted. also there is a strong burning smell comming from the trunk. ANy ideas on what this could be?

Thanks for any help
Sean

I've read that moisture around the body computer can be an issue on the concordes. Also, a short in the wiring under the headliner sometimes will short out. I have no idea how you'd fix it but you could probably ohm out the wiring to decide if this an issue.

The Power Amp is located in the trunk on the drivers side against the fender, peel back the trunk liner to expose it, and check the wiring to it or see if the burning smell is coming from the amp itself. The Amp has 12 volts fed to it at all times and is switched on by the power antenna feed from the Radio.
