No!, they stuck to it, however, the design intent was to put more emphasis on the wheels and tires, could put some 17's at least on there...

The bigger tires is a recent trend. They did go from 16's to 17's on the 2001-2003 Auroras.

My wife's uncle (whom I saw in Detroit this weekend) used to work for GM. He commented on how the rear of the car was supposed to be similar to the Toronado (since the Aurora was to be the replacement for the Toronado)...

WOW if the Aurora was an exact match with the design sketch I would't have needed the Razzi.

I'm not real hard core into the ricers, 20" wheels, and things of that nature but I can't stop drooling over that Razzi kit.
