ClikitaclikitaBlackBlur 05-05-2004, 10:18 PM My GS is acting up again. There is this funky clicking noise from under the hood. It seems to be located around my belts, possibly a bad bearing in a pully. Would this make the clicking sound I described? ashah000 05-05-2004, 10:24 PM Check your tension on the belts, then try some dressing guitarXgeek 05-05-2004, 11:18 PM Yea it's probably the tension on the belts like ashah said. I just replaced my power steering belt, and it was clicking for a while until I tightened it up a bit. But is seems to be in rhythm with my belts, which i suppose could still be my lifter though. ashah000 05-06-2004, 05:33 PM Tighten your PS belt, that seems to be the one that causes the most problems BlackBlur 05-06-2004, 05:41 PM and how might i go about tightening it? ive never messed with belts before...at all. ashah000 05-06-2004, 05:57 PM vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
