What sort of bearing is appropriate for use in a turbocharger spinning at up to 150000rpm with a shaft diameter of 10mm?

ceramics. only ceramic bearings can be used on the the first car to break the sound barrier and still be running at 22 C the whole time. so if that isnt a test, i dunno what it.

ball bearings aren't bad, ceramic is the shizzy.

ceramics is material not type. The type was rolling bearing. Go figure but any faster it would have to be special Gas turbine rolling bearing.
