2 MGB Roadsters for sale SniperX13 05-03-2004, 03:35 PM
I just came back from my fiance's friends parents house. he has 2 MGB's for sale. a 1975 Green Roadster and a 1963? I think.. its a light blue roadster. I am hitting the idea around my head of buying the green one (its in better running shape). Its a 75 Roadster with a 2-stroke 302 in it, or so I was told. Its in really good condition body wise. He was asking 3-400 for it. All it needs is a ignition switch (what he said) I was just wondering if this was a good buy, and if they are funa nd easy to take care of, and a blast to drive. thanks for all the help. Mojo.Rising 09-13-2004, 10:13 PM Hi I'm new here and don't know as much as alot of the people here, but I am almost certain that no MGB was ever made with a 2 stroke 302 or any other 2 stroke, for that matter. Very odd. I can tell you that I love my MGB and enjoy driving it every day (Arazona) and would recomend it to others. I would do alot of research before buying. Even if you know the person. I have a beginers knowledge of mechanics and I get by farley well with my B. So they are farely simple to work on. You will get stumped now and again, but there are quite a few forums to ask the Gurus. Shop around and RESEARCH. Related Links Enter the largest automotive community on the planet! |
