hi .. i have a 2001 celica gts and i want to put in cold air intake .. i was wondering if i needed a blow off valve or a reprogrammed ecu or somethin cuz thats what i heard .. thanx in advanced

if it came with instructions and it didnt say anything bout it, then prolly not. but if it didnt come wid instrucion than you prolly gotta program something for the air flow, and air:fuel ratio. i think??

Whoever told you…you would need a new BFV or reprogrammed ECU i.e. Apexi PFC was bull****ing

Depending on which CAI your looking at…most popular being the Injen (better high end) or AEM (better low end), the instructions should explain it roughly
