Hey I know it's been a while since I've been here but I saw the the thread on LoL about the Neochanger.

Well I have yet to install it, but can't wait to get it in.

Your connections for the Ford cd Changer will not be compatiable with the Neo. It has it's own wires from the RCU to the Neochager itself. But you have a ready power connection that could hook it right up to.

If you have any more Qs ask away.

That's good to know !! I've heard through the grapevine that Neochanger has problems with some burned CD's and that it's difficult to find some tracks.

I was waiting till I heard something positive before I made the switch.

The only thing hindering me from installing it is the lack of a wiring diagram. Someone informed me on another board that the Factory changer goes through Fuel cut off switch. But I need to know which wire it is that the factory changer hooks up to, once I have that I'm good to go with the install.

Towncar do you have a wiring diagram for a 96? All of it would apply since the cars are virtually the same.

I have several sources for the diagram, books and cd software..
The whole audio system is kinda complex though. The diagrams change with different options.

How 'bout I copy my 1996 2cd set and snail-mail em to ya ? I can run copies anytime and most likely mail 'em the same day since I do a post office run twice a week, and I'm overdue.
