driving home, smelt as though house on fire, realized it was my car. Started running rough, smell of raw gas, black smoke. replaced computer and fuel pressure regulator and tested fine. Check engine light has not come on. :banghead: :banghead:

Obviously running very rich. The first thing that came to mind was the fuel pressure regulator, but you said you've tested and/or replaced that. The coolant temperature sensor could be faulty, check that with an ohm meter. Could also be air flow/MAP sensor or o2 sensor.

All sensors have been replaced, map, o2, coolant sensor. Replaced fuel cansister, ran ok for first few minutes until warm and started flooding out again. I'm at my witts end. Should have spend all that money on a mechanic that nows these newer cars. Love my old carberated cars ;)!! Sure could use some advice

TPS? Maybe the fuel injectors are stuck open....double check all grounds.
