My wife was driving to ork when the car died.
has crazy clicking sound when just sitting there with no key in
no electrical aspects of the car work besides 1 dummy-light for the breaks. will not jump off. maybe something is wrong with the key-input
area on the steering wheel. changed battery and still no electrical power! please help me, having some money trouble lately and can't afford to buy parts and second guess. just went dead on her with no warning so must be a short or something?

I have the same problem with my 1999 Neon. Right now it is just sitting in my driveway while I try to figure out what it is. The service station changed the fuel pump, thinking that was what it was but it still went dead when driving. Had them take out the new fuel pump and put the old one back on too! We did find out that the #10 Ignition fuse on the fuse box in the car kept poping causing the engine to just die. So there is something else you can check on as well. I will check out what you guys have already stated. I just wanted to tell you about the fuse because I still can not figure it out. If you have anymore ideas pls let me know.
