1994 3ltr Ranger oil leaks when hot

I have a 94 Ranger 3 litre which leaks oil at the rear of the engine when hot. This leak is quite bad but seems to stop as engine cools.
Any suggestions please? Also where is the fuse box for lights accessories etc please?

where in the back of the engine is the oil coming from? is it from the top or the bottom?

OPEN THE DOOR (driver side)
look on the side of the dash where you can't see when the door is closed
there should be a little pop out panel that hides all of the inside fuses and the outside fuses are under the hood in a black encasment (usually near the battery or close to the driver side door)

It is hard to tell but I do not think it is from the rocker covers or the valley gasket. The engine hold good oil pressure and runs well. It is showing 190,00 kilometers (about 115,000 miles).

well, i would recomend to take off the dust cover, see if the rear crankseal is leaking or not, usually valve cover gaskets will leak to the side, do not add any of the stop leak junk. Just replace the seal, costs the same as the stop leak but actually works and will not harm your engine.

Thanks I will look at that. Lets hope that will be the problem.

I have found the leak and fixed it. It was the rear of the oil pan gasket. It had not been put in correctly. I have only just bought the truck and it appears to have been recently replaced.
