I wanna start off saying sup to ya all. I dont wanna seem like a automotiveforum newbie lol but they killed my old name from not useing it for over a year. Anyways i have a couple questions about the neon. I have built up a 91 dsm with the help from the eclipse people here but i have since totaled it owell junk anyway lol. Well i just bought a 96 2door sohc neon for 200$ runs and drives great except for bad motor mounts. The Questions i wanna ask is if i do build this one up whats the round about horse these motors are putting out with mods. Also is it better to just swap to a dohc and if i do can you turbo it (my lil bro just bout the uglyest 84 300zx turbo but that car moves prettie fast with just a turbo upgrade) so ima likeing the turbo lol. But any help you all can give would be great i know nothing about the neon becides it looks like my old dsm motor backwards lol but thanx all in advance. If you need any help with small block chevys let me know ive got my 86 monte ss @ about 400 horse without much money in it. Once again thanx all.

WELL, making 400 horse isnt gonna be without alot of money, its gonna take plenty of planning and tuning, turbo is a quicker way to get there though
