motor location of power antennam5kenshin 04-23-2004, 01:38 PM The power antenna for my 95 pathfinder broke, the white plastic cord is broken and is stuck inside the motor (i assume). However, the location of the motor is not visible. Does anyone know a way to get into the antenna motor area without too much hassle, or with a lot of hassle ;x Don C. 06-04-2004, 12:43 AM Hi there There’s a nut (ring) at the base where the antenna extends from on top of the fender. You can use the points of a small needle nose to unscrew it. You need to remove the screws in the wheel well on the passenger side facing the rear of the vehicle. You can crank the tire to the left for easier access. It’s a tight fit, but you’ll see the antenna and motor through there. I don’t remember if there is one or two bolts holding it in place (you’ll need a socket extension). This site will show you the basics for another car. http://www.carstereohelp.org/DoItYourselfRepair/NissanPwrAnt.htm I bought a replacement antenna from Ebay for about $20.00. But the top wouldn’t seal properly and it’s a bad idea to have water running over the electric motor. After returning the antenna (eating both shipping costs), I bought one from the dealer, it was a perfect fit. The part number is 28215-50J06, and it cost $33.50. I hope this helps.
