My turn signals flash very slow or stop for a second or two. Is there a flasher that needs to be replace? If so, where? Thanks

Maybe the connections are corroded or the flasher is damaged. The flasher should be located left of the steering column. But first check the connections.
Even a wrong bulb (wattage) can cause this effect.

I found it under the dash, left side of the steering column. I turned on the ignition without starting the car, turned on the turn signal switch and put my ear to the dash. I found the spot where it was clicking and reach up through all the wires until I felt the relay clicking. Pull it out and bought a new one. Done!
