:banghead: I have a 95 camry with a problem in the column,I replaced ignition switch,I took the column right out because of the cold weather.directionals are ok,headlights ok. :
and know the horn and cruise control don't work.also the indicator for the airbag is on on the dash. I suspect i blew a fuse someplace but cannot find any blown.Anyone have any hints on what to check?anyone know where i can get the wiring diagram?
Thanks

I read from Haynes manual that when the battery is disconnect even briefly. The airbag light will stay on (94 or later model). you have to take it too dealer where they use a special tool to re-activate it . I don't know if this is the case. Also anyone know how much they charge for this?

Correction: I am sorry, In the manual, it says "more than a brief period".

My 95 has never had those lights come on when disconnecting the battery.

my girlfriend bought a 96 had a SHITLOAD of problems w/ it, motor blew up, got another 1 dropped in (dealer paid) had to get a speed sensor, pulled out the gauge cluster and had some bulbs pulled out, checked all the codes got the speed sensor, airbag light is on, when you press the cruise button sometimes the horn blows! Mechanic said it was some bracket or switch between the steering wheel & column.
