450cc Injectors in RSmint567 04-20-2004, 10:06 AM Will the 450cc injectors out of a gst/gsx work fine without having to get a new fuel pump on a NT? ashah000 04-20-2004, 10:12 AM So were they your injectors? mint567 04-20-2004, 10:14 AM I havent had time to check really busy with class. Had a test yesterday in accounting I didnt know about but I think I did good. but I am really guessing it is them or fuel pump/gas tank. I Have had them cleaned and it helped for a little bit and now it is acting back up. I saw a set of 450cc injectors for sale (50$) and was wondering if they would fit. They would be an improvement over the 390cc I beleive that is in the rs/gs. These injectors have 137,xxx miles on them and last time I had the fuel filter changed it was extremely dirty... EclipseRST 04-20-2004, 09:21 PM yes they will work fine hillbillyboostin 08-29-2004, 12:21 PM Will the 450cc injectors out of a gst/gsx work fine without having to get a new fuel pump on a NT? you will have you still out the seats for the injectors. i was going the same route and didnt, i would get a varilble fuel regulator to ajust the pressure. hillbillyboostin 08-29-2004, 12:21 PM crap i meant drill out 2pntslow 08-29-2004, 12:33 PM wait. gst/gsx injectors will work in a gs/rs? hillbillyboostin 08-29-2004, 10:31 PM they wont, i was going to put 4 450cc blue cap injectors in my 97 eclipse gs but the seats was to small to fit the injectors. instead of boring out the seats to fit them, i just bought 24lbs venoms. EclipseRST 08-30-2004, 05:27 AM they fit just fine... you need the low to high impedence converter though! the seats are the same size... the O-rings that go on the injector tip was probably still in the head and one was still on the tip of the injector thats why it didnt fit, i used 450cc's in my RS for a month without any problems, then i went to 550cc's. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
