engine swap

The motor in my '91 ranger blew up the other day. I want to keep the truck because I can't afford anything else right now. It had a v6 but a friend of mine is giving me a 4 cyl. from the same year. My truck is an automatic trans but the 4 cyl. is manual trans. Will the automatic for the v6 bolt up to the 4 cyl.?
