94 Lumina 3.1 v6 stalls out when put in drive

i have a 94 lumina that was just workin fine and one day it just stall out on me............

Can any one help me with this

or may have a reson why its doin this

lock up solonoid for the torque converter

I have been told that if an injector resistance goes way out of spec it shuts down the injector motor when it is put under a load such as putting it in gear. I have a friend with a 92 that does this and I am going to pull the plenum and ohm check all the injectors. If you get yours figured out first let me know.The lockup solonoid is also a very good possibility because if it doesn't unlock there would be no torque converter slip and the engine and trans would stay locked up and the engine would die. I think I am gong to look into this.

94 chev lumina 3.1 >..... past 6 months.. car has almost stalled when i put in to drive or reverse,,,, always stalls when i tap the gas!.... cold starts( not too bad)( shifting good) when warm ... starts real low and then revs high for a second... then goes back down almost stalling and almost stalls when put into drive!!.. iv dealt with it for a while but its getting worse i think.... couple weeks ago i was at a red light and slammed the gas when it turned green.. car just inched foward 2 mph..... no accel...gas pedal not working... noise from under front driver seat.. finally stalled out... again and again... had it towed.. next morn.... mech said.. started no problem ran fine... no problems w/ car!!!!!.. i drove for a week... lost power at 30 mph and kept stalling again! left it over night and it was fine in the morning.... a week later the car would hardly start then finally stopped starting!!.. i had the cadalytic converter replaced!.. they said it was clogged... seemed to work!! but the mech said "after new converter....he started the car and it ran rough and gave check engine light... the comp said it was M.A.P sensor.. started it later in the day and it was fine... the next day it was fine.. i drove for 3 days with just the ((bad warm starts like usuall)). ...next morn... cold start... putt..putt.putt every 5 secs. stalled 2 times when i stopped at stop signs... had it towed.... he said he back tracked the problem to a ecm or ecs(computor) and it was full of salt crystalls inside... (comp next to body damage from 6 months ago.. possible rain and salt entering the comp)) replaced it.... ran fine on the way home.... 1 hour later(warm start) same thing!!!!almost stalling!!! and reving high for a sec!!!.. drove fine tho!! 8 hours later after work... cold start started fine no revving high... drove fine((((should i have the M.A.P sensor replaced and what else could it be...?????? did i spin my tires in the snow too much and wore out the engine.....spinning tires on pavement...lol.... im treating my car nicer now but i need help.... what should i do????? someone help me please... email is ro72bbs10@aim.com the date is march 6th 09 asap please i hate relying on people for rides and i got only 1 tow left with AAA lol:banghead:

Did the code show up on more than one reading? If so it should be replaced if not just a broken vacuum or loose electrical @ the M.A.P. sensor.

sorry boss haha i thought that might make someone say ( wtf why are you posting on an old comment))anyways i really dont know.... im pretty car stupid..... they said thwethe car was running rough and it gave the check eng and it came up on the comp as map or mass air flow senson idk which one...... then they said it was fine the next time they started it..... so i took the car home and drove it for 2 days... finally had the putting every 5 secs after starting it... even while driving... stalled...

they replaced the comp in car and the car drives fine as far as i know... but Cold starts in the morning>>>>starts fine>>> normal idle
but it wants to stall a lil bit when i put in drive and really wants to stall when im in reverse and backing up in idle..... fine while driving.

warm starts( hour after driving 10 or 15 mins and parking)starts but really low idle for half a sec... then it goes into a really high idle.... for 1 sec then goes back down and almost stalls...then normal idle.... putting it into drive seems worse that when its a cold start really wants to stall....
drives fine tho...... hesation acceleration from 0mph to 1mph (lil jumpy) i have to ease the gas slowly...... if i tap the gas... it will stall

iv never had the car stall out while starting it tho... just when i back up quick and put into drive with out waiting a secondand when tap the gas...
can i test the car by ((making the car stall)) and it will show check engine light....
or is the check eng from the car being in drive and not running???

sorry boss.... i got no life and i type to much i just hate getting in my car thinking its gunna die any second while im driving to work....

you had a 94 lumina tho??? car 3.1?? how long did it last???
