I need to replace a broken water seal ,think that is what they are called, and it is behind the engine mount.

Do I need to take out the engine or can I support the engine with a jack and then remove the mount to get to the water seal?

Any help would be nice, I owuld hate to have to take out my engine for a dollar piece.

Thanx

you are replacing a frost plug huh? yeah, if its that tough, jack the engine, support it with something solid, then remove the mount. drill a small hole in the frost plug, and thread a small screw into it. Then grab the screw with a pair of vise grips and pull the plug out. Install the new one, bolt everything back up, and ride off into the sunset. Enjoy

thank you for your help, I was so worried that I would have to cherry puick the engine. SO they are called frost pluges, eh?

Thanks again for taking time out of your to help out a stranger, I wish life was like forums sometimes.

Take care,
