Help Problem with my 1988 cherokee coolingstorman 04-18-2004, 01:03 PM I need help with my cooling system with my 1988 jeep cherokee. I have been having problems with it overheating which climaxed yesterday the 17th at 2 am in the morning. It was reheating aon the way home and i stoped and put water in the resevoir. I dove about 15 more miles and almost hom when i suddenly started loosing power as i pulled off an exit steam started pouring out of the hood and the engine suddenly stoped Please help me I need to drive it and i dont have another car arggghhhhhh What could it be and how do i check please Dale Aeppli 04-18-2004, 02:10 PM I need help with my cooling system with my 1988 jeep cherokee. I have one of the Cherokees that have no radiator cap, so when it overheats, it boils in the overflow tank!
