BMW in dash stereo trade out...

I'm wanting to trade out the stock, (Pioneer built) in dash radio/cassette/CD controller in my '92 525 i Bimmer. Seems to me being able to change from one CD to the next while driving is more satifying than having to stop and change one of 6 disks that the changer holds. I am looking for a single disk in dash unit and have run into the BMW amplifier situation. I bought an adaptor connector from an after market company so that the orginal connector will be intact. I want to know how to by pass the amp with out having to run new speaker wires, new speakers and all that crap. Can one bypass the amp and use the original speaker wiring??
Any help would be appreciated greatly.
Thanks
