Coolant problem w/ 94 skylarktsieds86 04-14-2004, 08:52 PM For the last few weeks my car has been overheating or getting to about 250 degrees before cooling back down. Ever since then, the low coolant light has been on...despite the fact that I've refilled the coolant 2 times and the coolant is still filled up to the line. I went to the store and bought one of those coolant flush systems so i could flush it myself, but upon opening the hood, I couldn't find the heater box. I believe its in the back left (when your looking at the engine from the front of the car) but it isnt visible. Does anyone know where the heater box on a 94 skylark is and if so, do you know where to cut the Tee into in order to do a coolant flush? public 04-25-2004, 08:48 PM did you ever get help? the flush connector goes into the heater hose. there is no heater box. it is the rubber hose that goes between the intake manifold and the firewall. make sure you don't cut the A/C hose. akinkanju 08-13-2004, 11:57 AM Greetings, This morning after coming into work, I noticed the familiar smell of coolant leaking from my car. After parking I check under my car and literally watched the coolant leak from my 97 buick skylark in a water faucet like fashion. Needless to say my car is not with out coolant. It is an external leak. Does anyone know if there is a way I can fix the leak or is there any kind of bandaid I can give it until i can get it into a shop. Please help. -Ak vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
