I'm about to buy an AE86. It is an Corolla GT-S Model from the US (by the way I'm from Germany where this beautiful car was never sold). They ask for 1000 Euro (about 1200$), sounds like a real good deal to me. I'm going to look at the car soon and I'd like to know what are the typical weaknesses of this car? What are common damages and expensive repairs for it?

I also got the feeling that the milleage is manipulated because it's under 40.000...Any idea how I can check this?

If I should decide to buy this car, where can I get tuning parts for it? Especially spoilers, body kits, rims, engine parts, ...
