i dont get the whole sea level thing, does racing at sea level make your times faster? i live in iowa and i have a stock 1995 civic si, i would like to know my times before i do mods, but there isnt a track anywhere close. whats better to run, at sea level or above sea level?

sea level thinner air higher you go. thinner air = slower times

At sea level the air is denser than above it so there is more air to go into the motor for it to work with just like its easier for a persn to breathe at sea level than it is for them to breathe at the top of a mountain.
