Condensation in oil cap

Changed the oil the other day, and i've noticed for a while That when I removed the oil cap, there's what appears to be condensation inside the cap, and the oil filler neck has this rust colored gunk coated on the inside. No problems with performance or anything. Just wondering if this condition is abnormal and something I should be concerned with? The PCV valve has been changed abuot a Year ago. Any ideas? Thanks
BTW the motor is a 2.9 Liter in a 1992 Ranger with 66,000 miles.

that can depend - a little is expected from time to time due to things like temp change, so a little rust and coloring is ok HOWEVER, if you start to see alot of white gunk in it also, you probably have a blown head gasket or cracked head (this happened to my old ranger - 1990 2.9L with 190,xxx miles), but so long as it is only a little, I'd say your good to go
