2 Issues if someone can help?Pathfinderman95 04-10-2004, 08:51 PM I have a 1995 Nissan Pathfinder and up until recently it no longer goes in reverse. It's a 4X4 and it's never had a problem before but now whenever I put the car in reverse it acts as if it were in Neutral, this is an automatic in case you're wondering. It works fine when you put it in any gear except when you put it in reverse. Everyone is telling me it's the transmission and if it is how much would it cost me? The other problem I have is with the alarm. The lights were left on one night and the battery was discharged the following morning. Since then my car's alarm sounds like it's dying and doesn't have that clean beep beep sound it used to have. How do I fix this, and or where can I get this to be fixed? And how much would it cost? ponchonutty 04-11-2004, 08:44 AM 1st problem sure sounds like a new tranny which should be between $1k to $2k to fix. The second, it either has to be a coinsidence or maybe your car's battery is a little weaker now and just enough to make the difference but still starts OK??? vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
