I have a 95 JGC limited V8. The power antenna is not working. It just stays up. The radio still works and everything. I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem and what is needed to fix it. Thx

First off i would check the fuse box.

If that looks ok then under the passenger side glove box and to the right under the dash is an opening aginst passenger wall..you can grab the connector "socket" to the auto antenna and pull it down... disconnect it there .turn radio on and check for voltage at socket comming from the radio. If you have voltage, replace the antenna.
My problem was the antenna motor kept running evrytime i turned the radio on...so i just unpluged it.
Later i replaced it with one of them short black europ antennas:)

With great difficulty I managed to remove the radio power antenna on my 94 JGC. Had to spray silicone lubricant on the grommet to get it out. Also pulled in a strong rope attached to antenna lead and connector at passenger feet area so I can pull the connectors back. I took the power antenna aprt and the nylon gear cable is broke. Does any one know if you can purchase this nylon gear cable separately? My dealer says no and have to purchase complete power antenna.

You should be able to purchase an antenna mast seperately. This is the antenna with the nylon cable attached.
