Pretty much everyone sells them, from Walmart to U-haul. If you still insist on wiring in the flat 4, then borrow an adaptor from someone, and use a multi-meter to see which wires on the connector go where, and wire up the flat connector using that info. If you really don't like that adaptor, then I'd wire the flat to piggyback onto the existing adaptor so you always have the option of using either one. Just a thought. Hope my post helps :) Ray Dsilver 04-15-2004, 01:06 AM :iagree: I say just go get an adaptor. zaddcsa 05-27-2004, 05:32 PM Be careful with the trailer wiring harness if you have the computer in the dash (it monitors if tail lights out and doors ajar etc.) I had a '95 GC without the computer and that harness was straight forward, just wires to clip onto the factory tail lights. When I had a '97 GC Limited, the tow bar was the same fit but I had to buy a new light harness that would not adversely effect the in dash computer. The hitch folks said it could damage the computer without the proper harness. Sounded like a sales pitch but the correct harness wasn't very expensive as compared to a new computer from Jeep. www.1800hitchit.com - not a pitch, just a boat towing, repeat satisfied customer (GC'95, GC'97 Ltd and GC'00). 97grand 06-23-2004, 05:58 PM Black or White---Ground Yellow-Left turn/brake Green-Right turn/brake Brown-Markers vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
