Rescue a kawasaki 90 zzr 600?96Civ 04-05-2004, 03:27 PM So I get a call the other day saying a kawasaki was abandoned in a parking lot that night. Cops said it wasnt stolen, just left there by who knows who. Myself, being a bike fan, couldn't resist to take a look. I drive over there, and this bike has a bunch of parts missing. Muffler is gone, all the panels are missing, screws holding on the seat/tank are gone. Handle bars are ok, but throttle destroyed. Still has: Frame, wiring, engine, headers, intake, battery, wheels.. doh, brakes. Keys left in ingnition and no plate. Looks like it has been crashed several times, and left in a grass field on its side for a while. I found grass and lizards on the bike. :eek7: My question is: Is it worth saving? I sat on the bike, and it feels ok. It actually felt decent. I can pick it up for $50 now that they took it away. Worth the money to restore? (Sorry no pics) But here is what it looked when it was new... just not that good :) http://www.nikkoracing.com/photo%20pot%20position/kawasaki/KP630AA_g.jpg vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
