wondering if anyone knows how to disengage the annoying seat belt alarm in a new 2004 ford ranger. the vehicle has a wire connector under the driver seat with 4 prongs. i disconnected that, and yes, it stopped the seat belt alarm but it leaves a bright yellow airbag light on in the dash above steering wheel. in my 2003 f150, i had 2 wires under the seat and disconnected one and the alarm stopped with no other problems. in the 2003, you can also push the seat belt release button but that dont work in the 2004..... is there are false seatbelt part on the market that can be inserted in the seatbelt lock mechanism to make it stop???? can anyone help... damn that alarm is annoying.. thanks don
