GSR 1/4 mile timeschris26969 04-03-2004, 02:07 PM Finding stats for any GSR 1/4 mile times are pretty ridiculous. Everywhere i go, shows a decent difference, and some how the years matter. Ive seen anywhere from 15.1-15.7 for 1/4 mile times of the GSR. Keep in mind im talking 2door. What is the actual 1/4 mile time, stock. got v-tec? 04-03-2004, 10:54 PM anywhere from 14.8 to 15.8 depending on elavation i live in utah 4750ft. above sea and the best 1/4 ive seen a stock gsr run was 15.6 with a 2.1 60ft. chris26969 04-03-2004, 11:25 PM Yea, elevation is killer. Ive heard my car (eclipse GSX) run a 17.0 before , somewhere really high , while stock it runs a 14.9 at sea level. lol. Im personally at sea level, what would i run if i got a say, 98 GSR. Ive seen the Car-stats.com stats and they vary from year to year, why is that. Like significant . got v-tec? 04-08-2004, 01:35 PM id say 14.8 with a good r/t and atleast 2.2 60ft. my brother had a 92 gsx thst ran 16.5 with a 1.9 60ft. High elavation does suck integra818 04-09-2004, 12:07 AM I've seen a differance in 1/4 mile times in GS-Rs also, but I've seen 15.7 enough times to believe that it'll do 15.7 stock. So there ya go... 15.7 chris26969 04-09-2004, 11:37 AM I've seen a differance in 1/4 mile times in GS-Rs also, but I've seen 15.7 enough times to believe that it'll do 15.7 stock. So there ya go... 15.7 See that sounds reasonable. I mean the person who was saying high 14s. that would be a dream come true, yet i dont think thats how fast it really is. So you say about a 15.7 .. Its just interesting that ive seen people try to compare the GSR to the eclipse GSX or cars along those lines running a good .8 better, almost a damn second. I mean i want a GSR, its just i want to know the truths behind the vehicle. FikseGTS 04-11-2004, 10:23 PM integra818 04-12-2004, 04:15 AM High 14's...that would be a type R with a bad driver :P ZackKVtec 04-12-2004, 07:43 AM a guy in this forums just went to the track stock and ran a 15.1 with almost a 2.5 60'..... thats a little lower than 15.7, that sounds more like an ls to me JakeDrummer 04-13-2004, 08:47 AM a guy in this forums just went to the track stock and ran a 15.1 with almost a 2.5 60'..... thats a little lower than 15.7, that sounds more like an ls to me i think i'm being called :iceslolan http://files.automotiveforums.com/gallery/watermark.php?file=/503/93885time_slip.JPG KrNxRaCer00 04-13-2004, 07:57 PM gsr's should run low 15's around sea level (15.2-3) w/ an average driver and lower w/ a better than usual driver. also u have to keep in mind engine maintanence, tires etc... nice run Jake. impressive time for stock. darknite23 04-13-2004, 08:46 PM jake drummer is correct well al you you guys are pretty correct i have a gs_R and stock i was running from 15.0 to 15.2 and the only reason why some years are faster than other is cause obd-1 and the obd-2 1 is a bit faster i heard i dont know if its exactly true but it sounds pretty accute cause stock i was beating the newer gs-R's kingpinn 04-14-2004, 02:18 AM my man did a 1/4 mile in a 99 gsr in 15.5 three time in a row so for his car thats money well good luck....thanks... integra818 04-14-2004, 03:11 AM My GSR does 15.2 but this is on Falken Azenis. Any GSR with sticky tires should do low 15's. JakeDrummer 04-14-2004, 09:01 AM yeah were I live we are about 930' above sea level, so I would like to run the car at a lower elevation just for the heck of it. lol. If I drove better I know I could have gotten a .1 faster. So I would say 15.0 for stock GS-R's integra818 04-16-2004, 11:02 PM 15.1 with a 60ft time of 2.5? Fast car, slow driver.. Either that or your tires really suck. Tano016 04-18-2004, 08:33 PM My best was 15.18 and 2.3 60 ft time on my 2001 gsr. Aem cai intake only. MexSiR 04-18-2004, 09:27 PM Well talk about elevation killing, Im the expert at that. SiRs 99-00 run 17.0 flat at my city (+5400)...My best run in my city is 16.6...best time a stock SiR has done. When I was at the beach I pulled a 15.3 on my stock SiR...Im a good driver. Not trying to sound cocky... chris26969 04-19-2004, 08:55 AM Well talk about elevation killing, Im the expert at that. SiRs 99-00 run 17.0 flat at my city (+5400)...My best run in my city is 16.6...best time a stock SiR has done. When I was at the beach I pulled a 15.3 on my stock SiR...Im a good driver. Not trying to sound cocky... Ouch. Thats got to feel so weird, driving at sealevel with so much more power, then driving at an elevation like that and it probably feels like theres something wrong with your car. JakeDrummer 04-19-2004, 09:30 AM 15.1 with a 60ft time of 2.5? Fast car, slow driver.. Either that or your tires really suck. you know... its probably both. lol MexSiR 04-20-2004, 12:23 AM Yeah when I came home after going to the beach I though my car was fucking slow...The motor feels different, not as free revving, it feels kinda forced... gsir2000 07-02-2004, 03:29 AM i have a bone stock 200o integra stock at sea level they run 15.2 im also in utah which means it should run a 16.2 i run a 16.3 but my tires dont hook up theres no way for it to run faster than 16.2 stock if it does its gonna be by a tenth of a second but not 15.6 unless they got a cold air intake and intake manifold done plus full exhaust. which my friend has and it runs about 15.3 - 15.5. if its asspirated then elevation dont matter because its forced induction. integralover 07-02-2004, 03:37 AM dammit man look at the dates on these threads. stick to somethin alittle more recent.:twak: gsir2000 07-02-2004, 10:13 AM haha ma bad i wasnt looking its was late vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
