Well, im writing this when just 15 minutes ago I had a fucking racing experience.
I was with a girl heading out of a restaurant, opened the door for her and a red civic ex 99 lowered with rims comes by and just stands there. Then he waits for me at the corner. I go to the corner and ask him what his mods are, he was chipped, exhaust, headers, intake, cables. I figure it was going to be a good race so i said, wanna race at an open street?

We headed to a four lane street, two one way two the other, rolled from 40 mph in second punched it and had him by 3 cars till 70 mph. Next we roll from 60 mph, and i get another 3 cars up to 80 mph. Then we are at an intersection with the green light on and nobody behind us so we stop, and we go from 0 up to 90 mph, me gaining 6 cars or so...and then the fucking street turns into a one lane street, and i was on the opposite side because i had to dodge a car infront of me so i went to the wrong side and i suddenly saw the narraw concrete triangle getting bigger and dividing the streets leaving me in the wrong side. I automatically brake and go reverse, to go to the lane im supposed to be in.

I didnt see that the triangle of concrete dividing the two ways was still on my way, so i went on top of it, broke my side neon and got stuck. People all over came, and soon a police car came. He saw us racing at the green light. They helped me push my car away so it was not stuck anymore, and i checked the car and everything was perfect except the neon bar. He told me i was going to go to jail because i was street racing at high speeds, on the opposite lane, and illegal strobes. I was like fuck, we talked for 20 minutes, so long...good thing i had money and he let me go because i bribed him with 30 US dollars. It took me too long to convince him. Then I went off, and dropped the girl off and gave her my broken neon pieces so she could remember...

I got carried away by the emotion and did stupid shit, such as going past a car on the opposite lane...

I got busted lost 30 dollars and a neon bar, but i won...(stupid mentality)
Its like alcohol, once you are in the racing mood you do stupid shit.

Damn dude, that sucks ass... i know what you mean by once you get in the racing mood you get carried away. luckily i haven't had any raw experiences yet. that's what happens when you're trying to show off i guess eh? that's a damn shame tho.. i hate hearing sad racing stories:crying: good job on the bribe tho.. that must have taken some sweeeet talking!

Thanks man. Well everything worked out pretty good, nothing absolutely nothing happened to my car, hat makes me happy only a friggin neon bar.

30 bones and some busted ricelights is better than jailtime and court bullshit like you'd be going through right now if you were in the states. Just some half-glass-full crap to brighten you up.

btw I have 3 blue neons on my car (front one busted in a fender-bender)

GUYS I need help!!! I just noticed maybe something DID happen to my car. Yesterday I drove it and it sounds perfectly fine but when i go up to 4000-5000 rpms in first gears, a scratching noise is heard. It also happens in second at that same point starts sounding at 4000-5000 revs and if i rev it up past 5000 the sound disappears. The sounds is not from the engine, but from the lower right, kinda like a scratchhhhh then it disappears, transmission dont know what. It does not happen on 3rd 4rth 45th, just on those gears. What could it be, im thinking the underpart when i hit maybe fu**ed a metal up inside, because when i look under nothing is broken, just there are scratches on one side. Thanks.

i don't want to be all nicky picky on you guys but there is only one bootcamp, and the service that has that is the marine corps. all the others are call basic training. so if he really did went to boot camp, then he must have join the corps. don't take offense, im only trying to hand out some fyi. :icon16:

mexsir, i had the same problem with my car, after i went up over a curb, when it was icey out, and itturned out to be the heat shield, or so the mechanic told me, andi had it fixed for 15 bones, i dunno it sounds a little differant than my problem tho, but still its pretty much very similar. yeah they said the heat shield came loose from general wear n tear

hey i had the same thing happen to my 95 civic but 3500rpm but its more of a rattling n it ended up being the cat although it mite be ur muffler 2 that wuld have been my guess for myne but i just bought a new one

yeah i'd check the heat shield... mine was hitting my 'custom short shifter' and making a clanging sound so i had to 'mod' the heatshield and now that came loose so it's making a different type of metallic clanging sound.... yeah just put it up on some stands and take a look at it.. tighten up any loose bolts

Yeah, Mexico is nothing like the U.S, there is lots of corruption which is good and bad.
Once I was driving with 8 beers on my system and I was speeding and I went past a redlight with no license. So, 1) No license 2)semidrunk 3) speeding 4) going by a traffic light
It cost me 20 dollars. With 20-30 dollars you can virtually get away with ANY I mean ANY traffic violation you want, even if your doing 120 mph on a 20 mph zone going the wrong way.
