hey ive done my 94 gsr in my honda civic coup, its fast n all but is it reguler that it eats up alot of gas im talking about each week im spending about 20 to 30 bucks :disappoin

you have to tell us how many miles you are driving each week...and where you drive IE highway or around town...and how much you spend on gas then maybe we can figure out if thats alot to be using

i drive around town not far 15 20 mi going to the mall and stuff

the engine is a 1.8 liter designed to use more gas, and you still have the small civic gas tank as opposed to the integra gas tank. Plus it sounds like your mainly driving in the city (stop and go). But I may be wrong, but thats my 2cents.

it eats more gas then my single cam vtec. that engine would last me for days with out going to the gas station. eat twice a much

dohc will eat more than a single cam. and depends how much you use vtec on the single cam.

well my gsr still eats alot wen im not even racing, mybe its my fuel filter?

your fuel filter wouldnt cause you to eat more gas...a 1.8 DOCH vtec motor is gonna eat alot more gas than a 1.6 SOCH vtec motor...your gas mileage shouldnt be that bad but still...it also depends on how many miles are on the engine, what shape its in, if it was raced and the way you drive. many many variables there
