I am wondering if a 2G tranny will fit in a 1G car I have heard that it will with some trimming of sheet metal around the shifter, but want some other opinions

YES, you can do it with some triming and will take the good part of a weekend with the right tools and about 3 big friends to help, i put a 2g trani in a 84 about 3 months ago and it took like 2 full days to do so hope you have some time
