My SRS slight was on and i couldnt figure out why then i realized my reverse lights were not comming on, so i changed the fuse and it fixed both. firefly386 04-02-2004, 09:58 AM You can take them out without the light coming on, but thats too late now.... Tryed that good fuse.... soyee7 04-02-2004, 11:59 AM youll probably need to take to a dealer to reset the code. joemathews 04-02-2004, 01:45 PM Um...am I the only one who is wondering why he painted his airbags? Import2nr99 04-02-2004, 06:03 PM Probably doing a custom interior. Many people do it that way (especially highschool students). If oyu had disconnected the battery before doing it you would not be in this problem but it's a little late for that now. I would say your best bet is to go to a dealership and tell them what the deal is. They should be able to reset it no problem. and shouldn't charge you hardly anything if anything at all. Talon007 04-03-2004, 12:01 AM How do it d that in case of need n future?? Dissconect the battery. And if you dont that, you run a high risk of them accidently going off. ashah000 04-03-2004, 12:00 PM Actually I think the dealer charges $60 for this. And they are the only ones that can do it, I believe. firefly386 04-03-2004, 12:23 PM Probably doing a custom interior. Many people do it that way (especially highschool students). I did disconnect the batt befor i did the work....would be dumb not to ....they want 85 to reset the light i know on the civics all you have to do is cross the 2 yellow wires in the fuse box hoping there would be something like that... firefly386 04-03-2004, 12:25 PM Um...am I the only one who is wondering why he painted his airbags? I painted the air bag front piece....not the air bag...An no im not inhighscool just wount a cool look in the inside besides gray.... Import2nr99 04-03-2004, 12:38 PM Nothing wrong with hookin up your interior man.. don't let it get to you. as far as the resetting goes I personally don't know how to do it. You could try the wire trick that you know, coudln't hurt.. hopefully. You might end up having to have the system reset or just put up with the light. maybe you could try pulling the fuse and putting it back in? Sorry I can't be of more help.
