Ok, this is the real deal. Slimedog flotaing his Xterra for a brief moment before his tires grabbed ground and pulled his lucky ass out of this deeper than expected water hole.

Yes, it's Sand Lake, Oregon. A few miles south of Tilamook. He was blowing out some steam from his exhaust, but I'm not sure if that wasn't just the exhaust. His truck is still running and no water got in the compartment.

Jens,

Nope, you haven't seen the Photoshopped pic. That's the real thing! The Photoshopped one has the water up to the windows.

Well I wasn't sure I'd make it, after all I still had my steprails on at the time, and didn't install a snorkle. But still, as you can tell in this pic the rushing water almost dragged me over the edge. If it wasn't for my quick reactions and heavy foot on the go pedal, I'm sure that would have been my early demise.

The puddle was caused by me...I got out of the truck and had to get rid of the six pack I had on the way up.........
