New hood just came in what do you think?Jims5543 04-01-2004, 12:09 AM I just got it from Japan. It took almost 5 months to get here. I like it a lot it will drop my under hood temps a whole lot especially in road course situations. It will not hurt in Autocrosses either. I am waiting on a new RE FC2000 bumper then its all getting painted. http://www.jims5543.com/albums/13B-REW-powered-FC/CIMG0160.sized.jpg Another angle: http://www.jims5543.com/albums/13B-REW-powered-FC/CIMG0161.sized.jpg DevoutWankelist 04-01-2004, 12:17 AM Bad ass man. . . Have you read the note stickied on the top of the page? Jims5543 04-01-2004, 12:31 AM Wow!! Well I really dont frequent here much because the server speed sucks and its frustrating waiting for a page to load at less than dial up speed. I am a moderator at www.nopistons.com Feel free to join over there. Kathy Atkins of Atkins rotary just signed up there. Judge Ito from JR's Rotary performance is a regular there giving porting and engine rebuilding tips. There are so many power players in the rotary world over there. The moderation staff works really hard to keep the place positive and free of idiots. Look at the bright side you will not have to endure trolls from the honda section dropping in to start a flame war over their friends turbo civic anymore. I am sure AF is not gone for good it will re-emerge. DevoutWankelist 04-01-2004, 12:34 AM Is that the re bumper that includes the sleek headlight deal? I see those when I dream at night. Soyo 04-01-2004, 09:09 AM wow, that thing is mean... your sleeper value is dropping when you add something with a look that agressive! haha turboii87rx7 04-01-2004, 09:49 AM how much did you pay for that thing (with shipping)... its def. one of the best hoods i've seen. Jims5543 04-01-2004, 11:04 PM It was not cheap. But, you get what you pay for. It was $1250 shipped from Japan to Cali then to Florida. The build quality and fit of this hid is every bit as good as stock. I got it here. If you contact Chuck tell him Jims5543 sent you. http://www.rotaryextreme.com/ ShortyDTP 04-01-2004, 11:29 PM Damm tha's a lot of $$ but worth it , and yeah you slepper rating is droping !!!! I love that hood tho!! nice!! Soyo 04-02-2004, 12:49 AM ok shorty I've got to ask... is that your mom in your signature? :) ShortyDTP 04-02-2004, 01:19 AM I wish !!!! if that was the case I'll still be getting breast feed!!:naughty: I lke the way the bounce tho!!:p drftk1d 04-03-2004, 10:06 PM I wish !!!! if that was the case I'll still be getting breast feed!!:naughty: I lke the way the bounce tho!!:p That is, by far, the funniest shit i ever heard. Partizan 04-08-2004, 08:43 PM Awkward but funny. lol :eek7: :lol2: wide-body silvia 04-10-2004, 12:56 AM 5 months is a long wait, but for a hood like that its worth it. thats a sick hood man ShortyDTP 04-10-2004, 02:26 AM I agree!! Steel 04-10-2004, 04:22 PM Anyhoo... i couldnt ever justfy spending 1200 bucks on a hood like that, no matter how nice. But it does look pretty badass. I bet it'll make defrosting the windshiled in the winter a breeze too :D Right now i'm having a hard time deciding whether I like the TII or N/A hood better. On the one hand, the N/A hood is nice snd smooth and flows oh so well with the rest of the car, but on the otherhand, the TII hood says "hey! lokout for me!"...but do I want to warn people? hmm... Soyo 04-10-2004, 10:00 PM I think the TII hood adds even further to the curves, and gives it a more agressive look. I say just throw a big FMIC in and that will say "Hey, lookout for me!" way before the TII hood will :) plus the TII hood is lighter isn't it? or is that just compared to some NA models? cuz I know its like 35 pounds less than my NA hood is, stupid steel hoods, bah! Steel 04-11-2004, 12:28 AM WEll, if/when I DO go front mount, it'll be discreet. Not like IN YOUR FACE, blingin polished up kinda thing. Soyo 04-11-2004, 12:49 AM haha yea, but still, people will see it, and know whats up wide-body silvia 04-11-2004, 02:11 AM if it were me i would go with the n/a hood. the tII hood is nice but if your a sleeper then i would just stick with the n/a hood. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
