That's no typo guys. The King of the Outlaws, over the weekend out in Texas, took his 500th career World of Outlaws sprint car feature win. This is really an unprecedented milestone, and Steve's career spans a while. In fact, the man's first feature win was in 1978!

The WoO is a very competitive (if relatively pricy) series, and it's a long haul considering there's 101 races on the calendar all over the country (plus the three first races of the year are in Australia). So congrats to Steve!

Now retire soon so that some other guys have a chance to win. Seriously, his record of wins in a season (which was set in 1997, I think) is 47 wins.
