whats up i am a noob i am not even the one with a prizm its my girls car but she doesnt have time for the computer or really understand what to look for so i am the one that will basically find everything for her car. i have found projector headlights for the 98-00 corollas has anyone in here ever tried to put corolla lights on a prizm yet i dont feel like wasting 150 plus shippig so any input is appreciated.

back to the original topic we ordered her body kit about a month ago and it was only supposed to take 10 to 14 days to get it in. we fianlly got it after a month and a half they said it to so long because the company was modifying the back bumper to fit. we got it back and the back bumper was never touched the side skirts dont fit and i broke the headlights getting the hood to shut after i put the front on. has anyone else had this problem with a corolla kit. its the blitz kit if that helps any one out.

i have the body work experiance to make it fit but i dont feel it is my place to and chop this kit if that as*hole was supposed to do it. i called him and asked what he was going to do aobut it. he said that i would have to make and appointment and come up there with the kit and the car and that it would cost me if there was anything major that had to be done to it. i basically told him if he didnt fix it for free that i was going to blow up his shop.

anyways if anyone can help me out a little bit with some insight into what to do with the headlights and the body kit if anyone else has had the same problems or anything jus let me know.

this is much appreciated thanks alot everyone.

anytime you order parts from a manufacturer it should come with a warranty, if they will not fix the problem then you'll have to call the better buisness bureau on them. just a pointer the older GEO and toyota corolla were the same car. the CHEVY and toyota are not the same car

Here's the thing man, from what I know about Prizm's, you can't fit Corolla aftermarket parts onto a Prizm unless it is an older Corolla and older Prizm. For instance, for my 97 Prizm, 97 Corolla parts may work, but Corolla parts won't work for my 98 Prizm. Get it? You are taking a chance buying Corolla parts for any Prizm. Make sure they guarantee that it is meant for a Prizm if it says so, or buy 97 and older Geo or 98 to 2002 Chevy parts that are specially made for the Chevy or Geo, not the Toyota. I know they are pretty much the same cars, but really, they aren't. My 98 when you open the hood it says Toyota all over the place, but that don't mean a thing. Toyota built the frame, had the idea for the Corolla, and even built some years' engines, but Geo really made the Prizm. I found out the hard way too. I have one Geo, and one Chevy. Look alike for the most part, but totally different when it comes down to parts and interior and details. (for instance did you know the rear fenders on a Geo 97 are about 3 or 4 inches shorter than the fenders on a 98 Chevy? I found that out the hard way too...) So good luck, and get true Prizm parts. And oh, by the way, raise heck on the ones who sold you Corolla for a Prizm, they should know better too! See Ya and have fun.
