maybe i am wrong, butcarbillegal 03-27-2004, 10:03 PM it seems that alot of people in the 86 crowd must be kinda bad when it comes to knowing how to turn the wrenches... i went to club 4ag and looked at the sr5 to gst swap info... and i have to say damn you guys are afraid of some custom fab... why the he!! would you swap out the gas tank...... just put in an in line fuel pump and get a local hydrolic shop to make a line that will fit the conections.... i mean i could see if the rear end wouldn't fit with the stock tank. another thing that ercks me is that you guys seem to insist on throughing the whole thing together right away.... i mean i just want to get my heap back on the road as fast as possible..... so what if i don't haver rear discs or limited slip RIGHT NOW my ride rides.... but since to the best of my knowledge the 4ac tranny bolts up to the 4ag sept for the forks are reversed... i won't have a problem puting in my gtr5 untill i can sorce the hardest parts of all the tranny and rearend.... I just more guys in the group would touch on making it eaiser to put together sr5 with hope rather then instisting that the gs-t be the only option... i have a ae101 and i am going to be splicing it to the 4ac trany.... in know it may not hold up.. but what can you expect from a 20 year old tranny... i guess i just think its better to drive then dream... peace vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
