I have a 92 accord ex, and whenever i pull my ebrake up i can feel and hear a pop about 3/4 of the way up. Almost as if i am crushing something. The ebrake still goes all the way up and it works fine, but i do feel the pop in the pedal and i can hear a pretty loud noise. almost sounds like when you disengage it. Anyone know what it could be? Thanks.

is a few things that it could be. Most likely its broken hardware in the rear brakes. Maybe a holddown pin or the adjuster. Take it to a shop that does free brakes inspections and ask to see what is going on.Dont take it to Goodyear!
