Pinstripe on my Spec V ????IwannaSpecV 01-08-2002, 12:03 AM Check this out... I went to take a peak a my new car with a friend of mine tonight, since the dealer drove it to the dealership today... and the car has a RED PINSTRIPE on it ! Holy crap. It's a black Spec V with a red pinstripe on it. No way man, I am going to call them in the morning and tell them to take the pinstripe off of the car. On the sticker they were charging $100 added to the MSRP of the car just for a little pinstripe. I just hope they won't delay the pickup a day to take that off. K- boingo82 01-08-2002, 01:03 AM Sorry to hear the news...pinstripe=bleaghghh. If it's any consolation the car should be good for many many miles. I have 1991 SE (no R :( ) but it just turned 183,333.3 yesterday (which is 100 k and 5/6 of the way to another 100 k) and no major probs, just maintenance. Though I should mention that it is currently leaking a little bit of coolant because 4 mo.s ago I lost my AC belt and it took 2 others with it, and the dummies put the belts on too tight so it screwed up the water pump. But it's not the car's fault. (Bad dealer - no biscuit!!!) I see B13 Sentras around town all the time with abt. the same mileage and they all look to be doing well. Anyway, your spec V will give you many happy miles. I am jealous. And make them remove the pinstripe for free. Heck, they should refund you for not telling you about it. (I can say heck and not be a hick because I'm in Utah.) (And yes, I am parentheses-happy.) IwannaSpecV 01-10-2002, 12:08 AM They took it off with no problem... K- Sentra Styling 01-15-2002, 11:09 AM Kewl,,,thats goo to hear;) G-Forces 01-17-2002, 09:06 AM Hehe, damn dealerships sometimes. You got to watch those shifty bastards! $100 for applying a $4 roll of pinstriping. I'm in the wrong fricking business. :D vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
