Auto Tranny Heeeeelp!!!!!!!!LudeDude72 03-23-2004, 05:36 PM Hey, I have a 99 CR-V 4x4 (104,000miles) with a Auto Tranny and its starting to slip when you give it full throttle. I tried changing the tranny fluid with Honda Fluid and no difference. Has anyone else had this problem, if so what is the problem/fix for it. I think it has something to do with the Torque Converter but not sure. Please reply and let me know! rruddfan21 04-20-2004, 10:40 PM don't know about cr-v's, but check the throttle linkage. it may need tuned. i had a slipping problem with my geo, but it was because of a sensor. but i read that if you give it full throttle and it slips, that the throttle linkage may need adjusted. hope this helps at all widman 06-28-2004, 05:58 PM You could probably benefit from adding one of the automatic transmission conditioners. I bought some for my Grand Cherokee and later for my BMW. Now I have cases of it for customers. It's actually a group V ester that cleans parts and slightly swells seals. Excellent when they are leaking or are not shifting at the right point. hsurferman 07-12-2004, 03:24 PM I have a 98 V with 107 and just went through the same issue.
